(May 12, 2021) 8:00pm Update - We finished strong after a long day of restoration work. Last night, we started with just over 1,000 without power and currently there are 14 members without power. We appreciate your patience and encouragement as our crews continue to restore power to all members through the evening.
(May 12, 2021) 4:30pm Update - There are currently 38 members without power. Crews are still working at this time to restore the reaming outages. We appreciate your patience.
(May 12, 2021) 2:30pm Update - NEC line crews have been making progress in getting members back on. There are currently 75 members without power. We are aware that we still have some members that are out and crews will continue to restore power throughout the day.
(May 12, 2021) 12:15pm Update - There are currently 186 members without power. Our NEC linemen are working hard to restore power as quickly and safely as possible to our members. Thank you for your patience.
(May 12, 2021) 11:00am Update - There are currently 57 outages and 377 members without power. We thank our members for their patience as our line crews work as quickly and safely as possible to restore the damaged power lines caused by the storm.
(May 12, 2021) 9:45am Update - We're down to 568 meters without power. Our linemen are still out making repairs. They will continue working until all outages have been restored.
(May 12, 2021) 8:15am Update - We are currently experiencing outages throughout our service area affecting approximately 635 members. Crews are working this morning to restore power to those that are still out due to scattered thunderstorms from last night. Some areas require repair due to the damage caused by the storm and will take a little longer to restore. Our NEC linemen will continue to work to restore power as quickly and safely as possible until everyone is back in power. We thank you for your patience.

Tips to remember:
- Report outages on SmartHub or by calling 1-800-632-9288
- Do not approach downed power lines or poles. Please treat any downed lines as if they are energized and contact NEC or law enforcement to report any downed power lines.
- Do not drive through flood waters. Turn around, don't drown.
- Unplug appliances and devices to prevent power surges to them.
- Keep refrigerators and freezers closed to help maintain the temperature.
