(May 12, 2021) 5:00am Update - We still have about 1,300 meters out of power around our service area. Crews are assessing damage and responding to outages. Restoration will continue through the day today. Some areas require repair due to the damage caused by the storm and will take a little longer to restore. We appreciate your patience as our crews work quickly and safely as possible to restore power.
(May 11, 2021) 1:00am Update - At this time, we have multiple outages across our service territory. 1,207 members remain without power. With safety as their top priority, NEC line crews will work as quickly as possible to restore power to all members. This will be the final update for the night. (May 11, 2021) 11:30pm Update - Outages are still occurring throughout our service territory due to the stormy weather. Linemen will continue to work to restore power as quickly and safely as possible until all members are back in power. There are currently 967 members without power.
(May 11, 2021) 9:49pm Update - Storms moving through our area now and through the night have caused some outages, primarily in Duval county. There are currently 656 members without power. Our NEC linemen are working hard to restore power as quickly and safely as possible to our members.

Tips to remember:
- Report outages on SmartHub or by calling 1-800-632-9288
- Do not approach downed power lines or poles. They could still be energized and are dangerous.
- Do not drive through flood waters. Turn around, don't drown.
- Unplug appliances and devices to prevent power surges to them.
- Keep refrigerators and freezers closed to help maintain the temperature.
