How to go paperless with NEC:

·         Visit your app store and search for the SmartHub (all one word) app. The correct app is provided by our partner, National Information Solutions Cooperative. This is a FREE service!

·         Choose your utility. Click on "By Name" and type in "Nueces Electric Cooperative."

·         Create a profile (if you do not already have an account)

·         Once you are in the SmartHub portal, select “My Profile”

·         Select “Update My Paperless Settings” and switch from “Off” to “On”

***Going forward, you will only receive an electronic bill statement via e-mail and will not receive a printed paper bill statement via US Postal Service.

The effect of going paperless:

•Reduced Carbon Footprint-No paper bill means less clutter and paper waste.

•Enhanced Security-Direct electronic communication reduces the risk of lost statements and mail fraud. Accessing your bill with a password adds another layer of security.
