Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation proudly hosted the inaugural Discovery Dojo event at the Lindale Senior Center, located at 3135 Swantner in Corpus Christi, Texas, spotlighting our community's engagement in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics). The event featured a diverse array of vendors, including museums, the rocketry club, the chemistry club, and botanical gardens, each presenting interactive booths.

We were thrilled to be asked to join this celebration. Bringing along one of our apprentices, Darshan, we provided a fascinating glimpse into the world of linework. Children eagerly tried on his equipment and tools, gaining a small insight into the intricacies of what it means to be a lineworker.

We took the opportunity to engage with kids about safety, distributing pamphlets tailored to their age range. Thank you, CC Parks & Rec, for considering us and inviting us to be a part of this wonderful event celebrating family, community, and STEAM!
