Nueces Electric Cooperative participated in the Nueces Junior Livestock Show from January 16th to 20th, 2024, at the Richard Borchard Fairgrounds, supporting our community at the Richard Borchard Fairgrounds. Our team was on-site, providing information on youth programs, engaging visitors with games, and hosting a coloring contest for children, offering the chance to win gift cards. We received a total of 81 entries for the contest and carefully selected three winners after much deliberation, it was a hard decision and we continued going back and forth on several of the animals. Our community is rich in talent, and events like NCJLS allow us to witness and appreciate the skills and passion within it. We are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such meaningful gatherings. Until next year, our sincere thanks to everyone who participated!
